A modern contemporary home that balances elegance and comfort
This home was designed with warm neutrals and dark wood tones that create depth throughout the home. Layered lighting the warmth of the interior and shapes a welcoming atmosphere.
The exterior was transformed from its original Bali-inspired character into a cleaner and more contemporary expression, complete with a spacious car porch and landscaped garden. Inside, the living and dining areas were planned with strong visual continuity, where a display shelf subtly conceals existing structural columns while preserving flow and connection between spaces.
The dry kitchen features an island counter for casual breakfasts and social interaction. Another key highlight is the verandah, which extends seamlessly to the outdoors when its folding doors are opened. Moving to the upper floor, the family library provides a space for bonding, introducing a soft mint-blue palette and French-style detailing for a relaxed, approachable mood.
